Alignerr Corp. is seeking biology experts to shape how AI reasons about genetics, biotechnology, and life sciences. You will apply deep discipline knowledge to craft complex, real-world prompts and evaluate AI outputs with scientific rigor.

This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract. No AI background required—just strong biology expertise and precise written English. 10–40 hours per week, remote collaboration with AI researchers.

Qualificações

• Master's or PhD in Biology or related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology).
• Deep expertise in at least one of genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics.
• Fluent in English.

We're looking for Biology experts with advanced degrees to help build and refine cutting-edge AI models. You'll bring your specialist knowledge to bear on complex, real-world biology problems — ensuring AI systems think with the rigor and depth that the field demands.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep command of your discipline and a commitment to scientific precision.

What You'll Do

• Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world relevance
• Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related areas to design complex, nuanced problem statements
• Evaluate AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, rigor, and depth
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to enhance model reasoning
• Ensure scientific clarity and correctness across all deliverables
• Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, etc.)
• Deep expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
• Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or analytical tasks
• Exceptionally clear written communicator — you can explain complex science with precision and accessibility
• Detail-oriented and methodical — scientific rigor is non-negotiable for you
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data labelling, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in peer review, academic writing, or science communication
• Familiarity with computational biology tools or bioinformatics pipelines
• Experience designing or grading advanced coursework or research problems
