Speedcast is seeking a Billing Analyst to prepare, process, and reconcile customer billings in line with contract terms. You will analyze invoices, assist with month-end close, and collaborate with sales and customer service to resolve billing inquiries.

You will ensure proper documentation, manage orders in the financial system, and support revenue recognition and tax parameters. Strong Excel skills and multitasking are essential.

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Read, write and speak English and Spanish in business terms is mandatory
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to handle large volume of data.
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure contract setup policies, processes, and procedures are followed to generate invoices at correct billing rates and per contract terms.
• Ensure proper supporting documentation is provided for all orders.
• Create and manage customer orders in the Financial System; verify order information and follow up on missing docs; execute month-end edits and validations for billing.
• Create customer invoices monthly in accordance with billing schedule.
• Analyze and interpret customer contracts to ensure billing aligns with terms.
• Process new orders, service changes, and other orders.
• Review or raise credit memorandums and submit for approval.
• Coordinate with Legal and Order Management on early terminations.
• Coordinate with Project Management at job initiation and close to ensure documentation.
• Adhere to Revenue Recognition Policy to post revenue in correct period.
• Apply Tax parameters as per Tax Department guidance.
• Provide support for unbilled analysis at Period End and participate in month end close.
• Assists coworkers as needed.

Overview of Position

Prepare, process, and reconcile customer billings per company policy. Review invoices for accuracy. Analyze billings and research discrepancies. Assist in month‑end close including preparation of journal entries, billings package, A/R account analysis, and key revenue metrics. Ensure sales orders are maintained. Analyze sales contracts to ensure billing aligns with contract terms. Partner with sales and customer service to resolve billing inquiries, providing assistance with information requests. Collaborate with collections and/or sales to resolve payment issues. Prepare ad‑hoc analysis, as needed.

What you will do

• Responsible for ensuring that all contract setup policies, processes, and procedures are followed to ensure invoices are generated at correct billing rates and per terms of the contract.


• Ensure proper supporting documentation is provided for all orders.


• Create and manage customer orders in the Financial System; verify accuracy of the order information; follow up on missing documentation, execute month‑end edits and validations in preparation for billing.


• Create customer invoices monthly in accordance with billing schedule.


• Analyze and interpret customer contracts using independent judgement and elevate when assistance is required.


• Process new order, change of service, service removal requests and other orders.


• Review or raise credit memorandums, complete credit memo pack and submit for approval.


• Monitor and follow up with Legal and Order Management team regarding early terminations.


• Coordinate with Project Management at job initiation and job close to ensure proper documentation.


• Adhere to Revenue Recognition Policy to ensure that all revenue is posted in the correct period.


• Apply appropriate Tax parameters as per the Tax Departments guidance.


• Provide support as required for the unbilled analysis at Period End and participate in month end close process.


• Assists coworkers as needed.
