BairesDev in Brazil seeks a Backend Engineer (Go) to design and build scalable backend services that power cloud-native applications. You will translate business needs into robust code, connecting server-side logic with diverse data sources.

You will lead Go backend development, design REST APIs with OpenAPI, optimize PostgreSQL queries, and deploy services on AWS. Excellent English and a passion for high-performance systems are essential.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Go (Golang).
• Experience designing scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database design and optimization.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and hands-on AWS experience.
• Production-grade systems with an API-first design approach and strong English.

Backend Engineer (Golang) at BairesDev

As a Backend Engineer (Golang), you will design and build scalable, high-performance backend services that form the core of our cloud-native applications. You will translate complex business requirements into stable, efficient code while ensuring seamless integration between server-side logic and diverse data sources.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the development of robust and concurrent backend systems using Go (Golang).
• Design and maintain scalable REST APIs with OpenAPI specifications for clear documentation and integration.
• Optimize database interactions and data flows using PostgreSQL to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Architect and deploy services within AWS environments, focusing on performance and resource efficiency.
• Apply Go's unique concurrency primitives, such as goroutines and channels, to handle massive traffic and workloads.

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in Backend Engineering with a focus on Go (Golang).
• Proven expertise in designing and building scalable, performance-critical backend services and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in database design and optimization using PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong background in building production-grade systems with an API-first design approach.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
