We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic technical solutions specialist to join our Centre of Excellence (COE) and play a key role in driving enablement and adoption of EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE). This position will work closely with our sales teams to provide deep technical expertise to our customers and partners, as well as advanced troubleshooting to support the successful implementation of EAE into customer solutions.

This role requires deep technical expertise and a strong ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and business stakeholders. It is responsible for supporting country sales teams to win more business with EAE and assisting customers throughout their project development cycle using EAE:

1. Provide technical pre-sales expertise and support to the sales team on automation & control system architectures to help accelerate sales growth and increase opportunity conversion rates using EAE.
2. Act as the technical subject matter expert at the customer to define and implement the best automation & control systems architecture using EAE.
3. Work with the customer to identify technical requirements and constraints for adopting EAE and offer solutions that support EAE integration into their projects/machines.
4. Explain and demonstrate the technical advantages and disadvantages of proposed architectures using EAE.
5. Create solutions architecture and demos, supporting the sales team to convince customers of EAE's value and benefits over conventional automation systems.

Self-motivated and driven, with a “must win” mindset and a desire for success. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a matrix organization is essential. Influence and motivate individuals who do not report directly to you to achieve shared KPIs through a collaborative approach. Must be an early adopter, bringing technical intensity to drive sales growth. While this is a technical role, commercial acumen and understanding the role of technical teams in the sales cycle are crucial to win new business.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT programming, or Code development.
• Embedded Software Engineer background, ideally with a strong IT focus.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming, Windows and Linux environments, Docker/Kubernetes/Swarm, Virtualization, Event-driven methodologies, C# programming for HMI integration.
• Networking experience in LAN, WAN, VLAN, Managed Switches, Routers, and communication protocols like TCP/IP, Modbus, EthernetIP, Profinet, HTTPS, MQTT.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Python, JavaScript is advantageous.
• Ability to apply code development and design system/solution architecture for industrial applications on the factory floor and plant to control equipment and processes.
• Hands-on experience with industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
• Deep expertise in PLC programming, SCADA/DCS, and industrial networking.
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale automation solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging technical and business stakeholders.
• Minimum of 5 years in automation solution development and programming.
• This role requires approximately 50% travel.
