Job summary

Wildlife Studios Limited is seeking an inquisitive and proactive engineer to build internal solutions and automations for People processes. The role sits at the intersection of technology, AI and HR products, maintaining tools that support our main internal products like performance cycles and salary reviews, while ensuring data reliability and governance.

You will develop automation for onboarding, metrics management, and internal communications, and create dashboards to inform leadership

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience applying generative AI tools to prototype, code and debug workflows quickly.
• Strong programming logic to audit, test and maintain generated code and identify bugs.
• Experience with BI/dashboard tools for data visualization and decision support.
• Understanding of information security best practices and LGPD guidelines (data protection).
• Ability to read and write in English and converse with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools for People processes (mass communications, data updates, surveys).
• Automate onboarding, performance cycles, metrics management and internal communications.
• Structure and maintain historical databases with data integration and quality checks.
• Build reports/dashboards for turnover, hiring, benefits, surveys to support decisions.
• Use AI assistants and LLMs to accelerate scripting and feature prototyping.

Job description

We are looking for a curious and proactive person, focused on building internal solutions and automations for People processes at Wildlife.
The focus of the role is to work at the intersection of technology, AI and HR products, building, updating and maintaining tools that support the delivery of our main internal products, such as the performance cycle, salary review, recruiting and turnover metrics, and the reliability and updating of the area's data. This role aims to reduce the team's manual work and increase the reliability, quality and impact of our deliverables.

What You'll Do

• Tool development: Propose and build solutions for People processes, such as mass communications, data updates, employee surveys, performance cycle and salary review, and support bots (Slack, email);
• Automation development: Map operational routines (onboarding, performance cycle, metrics management, internal communication, etc.) and build automated workflows using Google Apps Script, webhooks and low-code/no-code tools;
• Data management and structuring: Support the creation and maintenance of historical databases, ensuring integration, standardization, cleaning and updating of information, and building quality checks to flag inconsistencies;
• People Analytics: Build reports and dashboards for metrics (turnover, hiring, benefits, surveys) to support decision-making;
• AI-assisted development: Use coding assistants and LLMs to speed up the delivery of scripts, new features and internal tool prototypes;
• Quality and information security: Review code and automations (including AI-generated ones), ensuring compliance with LGPD (Brazilian data protection law), access permission control and protection of sensitive data;
• Documentation: Document all solutions so they can run independently.

What You'll Need

Must-have

• Education: Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Analysis or related fields (a People/Business background with a strong transition into technology is also welcome);
• AI applied to development: Hands-on experience using generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Gemini) to prototype, code and debug workflows quickly;
• Logic and code quality: Solid programming logic to audit, test and maintain generated code, identifying bugs or bottlenecks;
• Data visualization: Hands-on knowledge of BI and dashboard tools (Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Metabase or advanced Google Sheets);
• Security basics: Understanding of information security best practices, access control (RBAC/permissions) and LGPD guidelines (personal and sensitive data);
• English: Intermediate level for reading, writing and conversations with teams in other countries.

Nice to have

• Previous experience or interest in People/Human Resources;
• Experience with HR data and systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Greenhouse);
• Experience with basic version control (Git/GitHub);
• Experience working at a tech company.
