This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, allowing you to bring your creative lighting concepts to life for various architectural projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop lighting schemes for a variety of architectural projects
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and clients to understand project vision and requirements
• Create detailed lighting designs, specifications, and documentation
• Utilize design software to produce lighting layouts and visualizations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest lighting technologies and design trends
• Conduct site visits and provide on-site guidance during installation
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Lighting Design, Interior Design, or related field
• Proven experience as an Architectural Lighting Designer with a strong portfolio of residential projects
• Previous experience working for the U.S. market
• Proficiency in lighting design software, such as DIALux, Relux, or similar applications
• Strong understanding of lighting principles, techniques, and energy efficiency
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
