Mars is seeking an experienced BDS Non-SAP Application Platform Senior Analyst to lead operations for a critical suite of non-SAP platforms. You will partner with the Non-SAP Platform and Application Manager to ensure global applications run reliably, securely, and cost-effectively.

In this individual contributor role, you will design and implement platform solutions, manage DR simulations, drive incident resolution, and collaborate with engineering and business teams worldwide to deliver

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, application operations, or project management.
• Global exposure working in a matrixed organization with remote, cross-cultural teams.
• Big plus: platforms supporting manufacturing/warehouse operations.

About the Role

As a BDS Non-SAP Application Platform Senior Analyst within our Global Business Delivery (BDS) team, you will lead and oversee the service operations and platform management for a critical suite of non-SAP application platforms. Working under the guidance of the Non-SAP Platform and Application Manager, you will ensure our global and regional business applications are supported by stable, high-performing, and cost-efficient infrastructure. This is a dynamic, individual contributor role where your technical expertise in cloud platforms, databases, and operational excellence will directly enable Mars Digital Technologies to deliver consistent, high-impact results globally.

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Management

• Project Leadership: Lead and follow-up on development and project activities, focusing on performance increases and cost optimization.
• Technical Solutions: Define technical solutions for application platform deployments and projects.
• Expert Advisory: Provide technical expertise to application teams, advising on suitable infrastructure and platform setup.
• Specification Translation: Translate business functional requirements into technical solution specifications.
• Execution: Perform technical design, development, and configuration activities in line with Mars standards.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage the platform lifecycle of assigned products and services.

2. Service & Operational Excellence

• Vendor Management: Drive service management with third-party vendors, owning key service metrics (SLAs, availability, performance).
• Service Continuity: Guarantee business resilience by managing Disaster Recovery (DR) simulations and business continuity tests.
• Escalation & Resolution: Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical challenges, guiding technical teams to a fast resolution.

3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Proactive Communication: Keep business stakeholders and leadership continuously updated on incident management and project progress.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal engineering, infrastructure, and application teams globally.

4. New applications onboarding (PAAS, SAAS)

• Evaluate new applications for RC BDS TakeOn and coordinate with the Application Owner
• Elaborate RACI matrix in coordination with all technical teams
• Build the hypercare strategy after Go-Live

What We Are Looking For

Education & Professional Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, application operations, or project management.
• Global Exposure: Proven experience working in a global, matrixed organization with remote, cross-cultural teams.
• Industry Context: Technical expertise in platforms supporting manufacturing and/or warehouse operations is highly preferred.

Technical Skills & Expertise

• Operating Systems: Deep hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016 and above).
• Databases: Solid knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS): Strong knowledge of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) design, VM clustering, and virtualization.
• Cloud Platforms (PaaS - Azure focus): Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure WebApps, API Gateway, Logic Apps, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Databricks, and Cloud Security/Firewall configurations.
• Optimization: Strong background in performance tuning, complex troubleshooting, and systems diagnostics.
• Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal).
