Cadence Design Systems in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, is seeking an Application Engineer I for Physical Design – Synthesis and Digital Implementation to join the Global Customer Success team. You will help customers improve productivity and resolve issues with Cadence tools.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics, CMOS fundamentals exposure, and scripting basics; Cadence tool experience is a plus. The role is full-time and based in Belo Horizonte.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics or related field.
• Exposure to CMOS fundamentals and Digital Electronics.
• Basic scripting in Perl/TCL/Python.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Help customers in enhancing their productivity, debug complex issues and provide solutions in the digital tools & flows.
• Establish technical credibility and rapport with the customer and R&D.
• Produce knowledge content and self-service materials; create out-of-the-box solutions using tool capabilities or scripting.

Job Responsibilities

• Help customers in enhancing their productivity, debug complex issues and provide solutions in the digital tools & flows.
• Establish technical credibility and rapport with the customer and R&D.
• Ensuring high impact knowledge content, tool adoption kits and other high-level documents to increase the self-service for customers. Produce out-of-the-box solutions to customer problems using either tool capabilities or scripting techniques.

Minimum Requirements:

• Complete Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related fields.
• Candidate should have exposure to CMOS fundamentals, Digital Electronics, process technologies etc.
• Basic understanding of scripting languages such as Perl/TCL/Python
• Must have excellent debugging and analytical skills

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to physical design is added advantage
• Exposure to Cadence Digital tools is a plus
