Overview

The IT Business Support Analyst will support the business in the use of Oracle R12 Application for LATAM. The successful candidate must have both data analytics skills and a good level of technical knowledge. The role involves configuring, administering, and supporting Marketing Applications and ensuring platforms are configured in accordance with defined data governance, maintaining data integrity, and acting as the regional Oracle application specialist to ensure system stability, regulatory compliance, structured enhancements, and controlled development aligned with the global Oracle governance framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Oracle R12 modules across Finance, Operations, and Commercial areas.


• Perform structured troubleshooting including:

  • Interface reconciliation
  
  
  • Configuration review
  
  
  • Root cause analysis for recurring incidents and propose permanent corrective solutions
  
  
  
  


• Support business‑critical cycles such as month‑end close, financial consolidation, tax reporting, and statutory submissions.


• Ensure adherence to SLA targets and change management procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with data analysis, data visualization, and reporting tools.


• Skilled with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.


• Very good knowledge of modern database systems and related best practices.


• Proficiency with PL SQL and experience optimizing large, complex SQL statements.


• Knowledge of JSON notation and ability to create or review JSON documents.


• Understanding of concepts, data models, architectures, and interfaces of business applications such as ERP and/or CRM systems.


• Consulting approach, ability to understand internal customer needs.


• Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely manner.


• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and provide regular status updates on assigned activities.


• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented, metric‑intense environment.


• Familiarity with process design, design thinking, process re‑engineering, lean, and/or value stream mapping principles.


• Project management skills.


• Experience with other Oracle suite products (e.g., Oracle CX Sales, EBS, etc.).


• Familiar with Data Warehouse and/or Data Lake solutions.


• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science.


• Strong business analysis, project management, and communication skills with 2+ years of experience in a company of similar size, revenue, complexity, and geographic diversity.


• Deep knowledge in Customer and Contacts management and data governance.
