A Consoveyo, S.A. em Maia, Portugal, está à procura de um SOLUTION DESIGN ENGINEER (M/F) para analisar requisitos de clientes, tendências de mercado e tecnologia, desenvolvendo soluções competitivas em suporte a oportunidades de venda locais e internacionais.

O candidato ideal possui formação em engenharia, fluência em português e inglês, experiência com CAD e modelagem 3D, e a capacidade de preparar propostas técnicas detalhadas e layouts CAD para clientes.

Qualificações

• Diploma de engenharia com foco em Mecânica ou Mecatrônica.
• Advanced Portuguese and English, both verbal and written.
• Conhecimento adicional de espanhol, francês ou alemão é desejável.
• Excel avançado e AutoCAD são necessários.
• Conhecimento básico de bases de dados (MS Access) é um plus.
• Experiência com modelagem 3D (SketchUp, Demo3D, Revit, Navisworks) é desejável.

Responsabilidades

• Analisar requisitos intralogísticos do cliente, perspectiva de processo e dados, criando soluções conceituais.
• Organizar reuniões com Equipas de Execução, Engenharia e Vendas para configurar e precificar soluções.
• Interagir com fornecedores terceirizados, analisar propostas para atender aos requisitos.
• Criar layouts CAD detalhados e apoiar em modelos 3D/animações.
• Calcular custos das soluções com base em diretrizes da empresa.
• Apoiar gerentes de vendas com apresentações técnicas e esclarecimentos.
• Garantir passagem adequada de projetos vendidos para as equipes de execução.

Descrição da Função

Based on our location in Maia, we are looking for a SOLUTION DESIGN ENGINEER (M/F) to analyze Customer’s requirements, as well as market and technology trends, to create and benchmark competitive solutions, in direct support to active sales opportunities (both locally and internationally) or to create new generic solutions as part as the company’s strategic roadmaps.

Main responsibilities

• Analyze Customer’s intralogistics requirements, from both a process perspective and an in-depth data analysis, and create conceptual solution ideas to fulfil these requirements, based on the company’s product portfolio, solution standards, and where required, 3rd party solutions, products or services;
• Interact and organize meetings with Project Execution, Engineering, Software, R&D, Product Supply Chain and After Sales departments to properly configure and price solutions, equipment or services;
• Interact with 3rd party supplies by developing the RFQ documentation and analyzing their offers to fit solution requirements;
• Create detailed CAD layouts for the solution. Assist on the creation of 3D models or animations for the solution;
• Make performance calculations to determine the adequate equipment configuration and quantity, based on company guidelines and tools;
• Develop the technical proposal for the customer, including design base, solution description and acceptance criteria;
• Calculate the cost of the designed solutions, based on company guidelines and tools;
• Support sales managers at customer meetings, performing technical presentations and clarifications when needed;
• In coordination with the sales managers, ensure proper hand-over of sold projects to the execution team(s) based on company standards and processes;
• Keep track of competition, new developments, trends and capabilities in the supply chain automation business;
• Promote continuous improvement and collaborate in creating standard tools and guidelines for solution development;
• Actively support and comply with Körber’s Compliance and Code of Conduct.

Perfil do Candidato

Skills to succeed

• Engineering Master’s degree in Mechanics or Mechatronics, or alternatively, degree in Industrial, Logistics or Production Management (with high engineering content);
• Advanced Portuguese and English, both verbal and written;
• Knowledge of Spanish, French or German language is a plus;
• Advanced user level of MS Excel (data analysis, power pivot tables, macros…);
• Advanced user level of AutoCAD software;
• User level experience with Data Base analysis (i.e. MS Access) is a plus;
• Experience with 3D modelling and animation software (SketchUp, Demo3D, Revit, Navisworks…) is a plus;
• Affinity with technology and process automation;
• Previous experience in material handling automation industry or custom-engineered products is beneficial;
• Team player with excellent communication and networking skills;
• Able to communicate with different stakeholders (engineers, department heads, sales managers, customers);
• Structured, process-oriented, accurate and result-oriented;
• Time management skills, understands priorities and commits with deadlines stablished;
• Diligent and exceptionally committed, able to work under pressure;
• Takes responsibility for your work, work independently and proactively but asks for help when needed;
• Applies standards where possible but is innovative when needed;
• Can switch between a practical approach and a higher abstraction level;
• Customer-oriented mindset;
• Able to perform complex data analysis and calculations;
• Previous international exchange experience or living abroad is a plus;
• Available to travel up to 20% of time (national and internationally).
