Luxoft is seeking an experienced Android Applications Developer (Contractor) to build production-grade Android apps for automotive infotainment systems (AAOS). You will own multiple APK deliverables, implement MVVM/MVI architectures, and work with Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, Hilt DI, and modern Android tooling to ensure performance and quality.

• 6–10 years of Android app development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin with a Kotlin-first approach.

• Strong Git skills and experience in Agile/SAFe environments.

Help Luxoft build the cars of the future! We are looking for an experienced Android Applications Developer (Contractor) to build, ship, and scale production-grade Android applications for next-generation automotive infotainment systems (AAOS) used by top-tier global automakers.

• Build In-Vehicle Apps: Develop cutting-edge AAOS applications compliant with strict automotive HMI and safety standards (glanceability, rotary/D-pad/voice control).
• Architect Scalable Systems: Design clean, testable architectures using MVVM/MVI, Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, and Hilt DI.
• Integrate & Optimize: Implement robust networking, caching (Room/SQLite), and offline-first behavior for multi-brand OEM apps.
• Ensure Quality & CI/CD: Maintain rigorous code coverage, automated testing pipelines (JUnit/instrumentation), and smooth PR workflows.
• Technical Ownership: Own multiple APK deliverables across the software life-cycle, ensuring high performance and compliance.
• 6–10 years of professional Android application development experience in Java and Kotlin (Kotlin-first approach with strong Java interop).
• Solid CS Fundamentals: Object-oriented design, multithreading, and memory management.
• Modern Android Stack: Production-level experience with coroutines/Flow, Dependency Injection (Hilt), and modern architectures (MVVM/MVI).
• Testing & Quality: Strong unit testing (JUnit) and basic instrumentation test creation; writes highly testable code.
• Automotive Domain Exposure: Familiarity with AOSP/AAOS platform concepts, in-vehicle constraints, and template-driven HMI (Android for Cars App Library).
• Collaboration & Workflow: Advanced Git proficiency, structured code-review etiquette, and experience with Agile/SAFe environments.
