Shopee Brasil seeks an experienced accounting professional to lead local monthly closings, reconciliations, and variance analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will support AP, AR, and Treasury functions, interface with auditors, and bridge Local GAAP with US GAAP.

The role requires autonomy in a hybrid, Brazil-based finance team. Experience with month-to-month and year-to-year reporting, and a proactive approach to process improvements are valued.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Advanced English language skills.

Mansioni

• Handle local accounting monthly closing end-to-end.
• Perform account variance analysis for reporting (MoM, YoY).
• Support AP, AR, and Treasury to ensure accurate processes.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with standards and policies.
• Prepare accounting obligations and declarations (ECD, Censo, Bacen, RDE).
• Interface with internal and external auditors; bridge Local GAAP and US GAAP.
• Drive improvements in accounting processes and efficiency.
