Helibras, the Latin American helicopter manufacturer and Airbus subsidiary, is hiring a Safety & Compliance Specialist in Itajubá, MG. You will monitor the Safety Management System, analyze KPIs, support audits, maintain regulatory docs, and assist CAPA and training initiatives to strengthen safety culture.

The role requires a degree in engineering, knowledge of SMS, RBACs/ANAC, and strong Excel skills. Internal candidates encouraged. Permanent contract with benefits.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and managing the operational routines of the Safety Management System (SMS).
  
• Consolidate and analyze operational safety performance indicators (KPIs/SPIs) to prepare management reports.
  
• Support the conduct of internal and external operational safety audits.
  
• Assist in controlling, reviewing, and maintaining up-to-date manuals and regulatory documentation in compliance with relevant authorities (ANAC/RBACs).
  
• Lead the receipt, screening, logging, and investigation support for Operational Safety Reports (RSO/RELPREV).
  
• Monitor the development and effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.
  
• Support the organization and execution of training initiatives, campaigns, and events aimed at strengthening the organization's safety culture.
  
• Ensure continuous communication with the operations team, reporting occurrences relevant to technical and operational routines.
  
• Manage, correct, and report data on productive activities, ensuring the consistency and integrity of operational information.
  
• Consolidate and maintain up-to-date records of technical qualifications and training for personnel involved in operational/technical routines.
  
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes under their responsibility, contributing to innovation and safety initiatives.
  
• Assist the manager in preparing and monitoring the department's annual budget (OPEX, CAPEX, and PAT), ensuring control over approved investments.
  
• Consolidate and analyze financial data for the area's cost center (budget, actuals, and forecast), monitoring any variances.
  
• Manage costs associated with the department's activities and assist in analyzing variances by business line.
  
• Process and track general purchase and service requests to meet the needs of the SMS department.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Production, Mechanical, or related fields), Aeronautical Sciences, or Civil Aviation.
  
• Mastery of the concepts and pillars of the Safety Management System (SMS).
  
• Knowledge of Civil Aviation standards and regulations (ANAC / applicable RBACs).
  
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for analyzing safety indicators and statistics).

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience or internship in the aviation sector (helicopter/aircraft manufacturing, RBAC 135/121 operators, or RBAC 145 maintenance facilities).
  
• Practical knowledge of risk analysis and root cause analysis tools (CAPA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram).
  
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for reading aviation and regulatory documentation.

• Auxiliar no acompanhamento e nas rotinas operacionais do Sistema de Gerenciamento da Segurança Operacional (SGSO/SMS).
  
• Consolidar e analisar indicadores de desempenho de segurança operacional (KPIs/SPIs) para elaboração de reportes e relatórios gerenciais.

• Realizar o controle, correção e reporte dos apontamentos das atividades produtivas, assegurando a consistência e integridade das informações operacionais.
  
• Consolidar e manter atualizadas as informações de qualificação técnica e capacitação dos colaboradores envolvidos nas rotinas operacionais/técnicas.
  
• Identificar oportunidades de melhoria contínua nos processos sob sua responsabilidade, contribuindo com iniciativas de inovação e segurança.
  
• Apoiar o gestor na elaboração e no acompanhamento do orçamento anual do departamento (OPEX, CAPEX e PAT), garantindo o controle dos investimentos aprovados.
  
• Consolidar e analisar as informações financeiras do centro de custo da área (budget, realizado e forecast), monitorando eventuais desvios.
  
• Realizar o controle dos custos associados às atividades da assessoria e apoiar a apuração de variações por linha de negócio.
  
• Lançar e acompanhar solicitações de compras gerais e de serviços para atendimento das demandas do setor de SGSO.
  

Requisitos:

• Ensino Superior completo em Engenharia (Aeronáutica, Produção, Mecânica ou áreas correlatas), Ciências Aeronáuticas ou Aviação Civil.
  
• Domínio dos conceitos e pilares do Sistema de Gerenciamento da Segurança Operacional (SGSO / SMS).
  
• Conhecimento das normas e regulamentações da Aviação Civil (ANAC / RBACs aplicáveis).
  
• Pacote Office intermediário/avançado (Excel para análise de indicadores e estatísticas de segurança).

• Vivência ou estágio prévio no segmento aeronáutico (indústria de helicópteros/aeronaves, empresas operadoras RBAC 135/121 ou oficinas de manutenção RBAC 145).
