Helibras, the Latin American helicopter leader and Airbus subsidiary, seeks a Track Mechanic to ensure aircraft readiness on the flight line. You will perform inspections, functional tests, and maintenance in strict compliance with manufacturer documents and aviation regulations.

Join a team responsible for pre/post‑flight routines, engine and hydraulic systems work, and rotor balancing. The role offers a permanent contract and on‑site work in Itajubá, with medical, life, and transportation

Qualificações

• Technical education in MMA, in Mechanics, Electronics, or related fields.
• CHT in CEL and GMP.
• CHT in AVI is desirable.
• Experience in flight line preparation, pre/post‑flight routines, production flights, and functional testing on H125, H130, H135 or H145 aircraft families.
• Hands‑on experience with engines, MGB, hydraulic systems and Fenestron tail rotor tech.
• Experience in flight control rigging and rotor balancing procedures.
• Intermediate to advanced English for interpreting manufacturer documentation.

As a Track Mechanic you will ensure operational safety, technical compliance, and aircraft readiness on the flight line by performing inspections, functional tests, and maintenance routines in strict compliance with manufacturer‑approved documentation, aviation authority regulations, and Helibras quality and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft preparation activities for flight line operations or maintenance in accordance with approved technical data, ensuring compliance with documentation and the quality standards inherent to the task.
• Consult the documentation regarding the standards and procedures defined for each specific type of work to be performed.
• Use the tools, equipment, and support test apparatus necessary for assigned tasks, ensuring work execution aligns with generally accepted industry quality practices and standards relevant to the activity.
• Support the execution of aircraft tests and checks on the flight line when required, in compliance with Helibras procedures.
• Complete aircraft control records after finishing each activity and ensure all service‑related records are finalized before deeming the job complete, in accordance with established process standards.
• Verify that materials used during service execution comply with the manufacturer's standard requirements.
• Perform necessary tests and checks to confirm the operational status of inspected or maintained items, ensuring they meet compliance criteria.
• Conduct pre‑flight, production flight, and post‑flight activities in accordance with required and applicable operational safety documentation.
• Comply with manufacturer service bulletins that are not linked to Airworthiness Directives (ADs) issued by aeronautical authorities.
• Clean, organize, and stow all tools used in the execution of tasks to maintain a tidy workspace and ensure no tools are left inside the aircraft; keep the workstation clean and organized, collecting all debris generated during work at the end of the shift and disposing of it in the appropriate location, in compliance with operational safety standards.

Requirements

• Technical education in MMA, in Mechanics, Electronics, or related fields.
• CHT in CEL and GMP.
• CHT in AVI is desirable.
• Previous experience in flight line preparation, pre/post‑flight routines, production flights, and functional testing on H125, H130, H135, or H145 aircraft families.
• Hands‑on experience with engines (Safran/Pratt & Whitney), Main Gearboxes (MGB), hydraulic systems, and Fenestron tail rotor technology.
• Practical experience in flight control rigging and dynamic rotor balancing procedures.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for interpreting manufacturer technical documentation (AMM, IPC, WDM, and SB).

Responsabilidades Chaves

• Realizar atividades de preparação de aeronaves para pista ou manutenção conforme dado técnico aprovado, garantindo estar em conformidade das documentações e qualidade inerente a atividade.
• Realizar consulta na documentação com as normas e procedimentos definidos para cada tipo de trabalho a ser realizado.
• Utilizar ferramentas, equipamentos e aparelhos de teste de apoio necessários às atividades designadas, de forma a assegurar a execução do trabalho de acordo com práticas industriais de aceitação geral no critério de qualidade e normas inerente a atividade.
• Suportar, quando requerido, a execução dos testes e checks das aeronaves na pista, em conformidade com a os procedimentos da Helibras.
• Realizar preenchimento dos registros de controle pertinentes às aeronaves após a finalização de cada atividade e garantir que todos os registros pertinentes ao serviço tenham sido realizado antes de considerar o serviço concluído, conforme normas definidas no processo.
• Certificar-se que os materiais utilizados na execução dos serviços estão em conformidade com os requisitos do padrão do fabricante.
• Realizar testes e checks necessários à confirmação da operacionalidade do item inspecionado ou manutenido, visando estar dentro dos critérios de conformidade.
• Realização de pré voo, voos e pós voo de produção conforme documentação exigida e aplicável de segurança operacional.
• Cumprir os boletins de serviço do fabricante, não vinculados a Diretivas de Aeronavegabilidade (AD) emitidas pelas Autoridades Aeronáuticas.
• Realizar Limpeza, organização e guardar todo o ferramentais utilizado na execução de suas atividades, a fim de manter a organização da área de trabalho e garantir que nenhuma ferramenta ficou esquecida na aeronave e manter limpo e organizado o seu posto de trabalho, recolhendo ao final da jornada todos os detritos produzidos na execução de suas atividades, depositando‑os em local adequado, garantindo estar dentro das normas de segurança operacional.

Requisitos

• Ensino técnico em Manutenção Aeronáutica (MMA), Mecânica, Eletrônica ou áreas correlatas.
• CHT ativa em CEL e GMP.
• Desejável CHT em AVI.
• Atuação prévia na preparação de pista, rotinas de pré/pós‑voo, voos de produção e testes funcionais nas famílias H125, H130, H135 ou H145.
• Conhecimento prático em motores (Safran/Pratt & Whitney), Caixas de Transmissão Principais (MGB), sistemas hidráulicos e tecnologia de rotor de cauda Fenestron.
• Prática em rigging (regulagem de comandos de voo) e procedimentos de balanceamento dinâmico de rotores.
• Inglês intermediário a avançado para interpretação de documentação técnica do fabricante (AMM, IPC, WDM e SB).
