Zusammenfassung

Amazon Itaitinga-CE Fulfillment Center seeks an Environmental Coordinator to support environmental compliance, implement standards, and guide operations, maintenance and construction teams on site. You will perform inspections, track metrics, and interact with government partners while advancing Amazon's environmental program.

The role emphasizes hands-on engagement in the yard and floor, knowledge of Brazilian regulations, and collaboration with the Environmental Assurance and Protection team

Qualifikationen

• Experience and ability to dive deep with engineering teams to understand operations process for environmental risk assessment.
• Knowledge of Brazilian environmental regulations.
• Experience engaging with Regulatory Agency in permit application.

• Work collaboratively with other Environmental Assurance and Protection (EAP) Team in BR, contractors and consultants to ensure compliance and conformance with the Amazon Environmental System;
• Drive the completion of environmental incident investigations;
• Assist with managing and handling regulated waste programs;
• Tracking of air emissions and other Key Operational metrics related to environmental performance;
• Assist with spill clean-ups and emergency response.

The Environmental Coordinator (EC) will be responsible for supporting environmental compliance at the FOR2 Amazon Fulfillment Center in Itaitinga -CE. The EC will assist in implementation and enforcement of standards and policies to support environmental and regulatory compliance and provide guidance for operations, maintenance and construction teams. The individual will complete environmental inspections and performance analysis, monitor metrics, and assist teams in implementation of Amazon environmental standards. The EC will work with internal and external partners that include government entities, contractors, consultants, design, construction, operations and other key stakeholders. This is a hands-on position that includes time spent in the yard and on the floor of a busy fulfillment center conducting inspections and audits; taking samples; providing guidance to other employees; ensuring proper waste classification; and dealing with multiple departments and all levels of employees throughout the operation. This is a full onsite/in-person role.
