PALO IT Group seeks an AI Tech Lead to drive the design and implementation of AI-driven applications. You will lead cross-functional teams and ensure quality, scalability, and performance across the stack using GCP, React 18, TypeScript, and Python FastAPI.

You will oversee AI services integration via the Google ADK, collaborate with product managers, and mentor engineers in AI-native development. 8+ years in software and cloud computing, with Firestore/Cloud SQL experience, are preferred.

Qualificações

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field.
8+ years of software development experience with AI & cloud computing.
Proficiency with GCP, React 18, TypeScript, Python FastAPI.
Solid knowledge of Firestore and Google Cloud SQL.
Experience with ADK and Claude Code for documentation.

Responsabilidades

Lead cross-functional teams to develop AI-driven applications using GCP, React 18, and TypeScript.
Design and implement robust backend services with Python FastAPI.
Oversee AI service integration through the Google ADK across projects.
Collaborate with PMs and designers to define roadmaps and requirements.

Your Role

As an AI Tech Lead at PALO IT, you will drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge AI-driven applications. You will leverage your expertise with various technologies to ensure that our solutions not only meet but exceed the highest standards of quality, scalability, and performance.

Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative software applications utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP), React 18, and TypeScript.
Design and implement robust backend services using Python FastAPI and manage databases with Firestore and Google Cloud SQL.
Oversee the integration of AI services through the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK), optimizing the utility of AI functionalities across projects.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to define technical roadmaps and product requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Utilize Claude Code to document design processes and maintain clarity in communication among team members.
Manage project tasks and timelines effectively using GitHub Projects, ensuring alignment and progress within the team’s workflow.
Conduct architectural reviews and code assessments to uphold high standards for software quality and security.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by exploring new AI technologies and methodologies, enhancing our engineering processes.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in software development, with a significant background in AI technologies and cloud computing.
Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with strong expertise in React 18, TypeScript, and Python FastAPI.
Solid understanding of modern databases, specifically Firestore and Google Cloud SQL.
Familiarity with the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) and Claude Code for documentation purposes.
Experienced in utilizing GitHub (PR-based workflow) for effective code collaboration and project management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical problem-solver with attention to detail, always seeking to improve and optimize processes.

AI-Native Engineering (Core Expectation)

Use Generative AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as a first-class engineering assistant for:
Code scaffolding and refactoring
Code generation and optimisation
Test-cases and documentation generation
Build applications through AI-driven development practices, including:
AI-assisted debugging and troubleshooting
Intelligent code completion and pattern recognition
Automated documentation generation
Apply prompt engineering best practices for reliable, repeatable engineering outcomes.
Validate GenAI output (determinism checks, guardrails, fallback logic).
