Join our customer’s team as a Python Backend Developer and play a vital role in architecting and implementing robust backend systems. In this fully remote, full-time position, you will collaborate with talented professionals to build high-performance APIs and microservices while upholding exceptional standards for code quality and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices using Python and industry-leading frameworks.
• Write efficient, high-quality backend code leveraging strong object-oriented principles and asynchronous programming techniques.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to ensure software designs are aligned with project requirements and timelines.
• Integrate AI/ML models into backend services and contribute to GenAI and LLM-powered solutions.
• Provide expertise in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving backend application issues.
• Establish and champion best practices for software development, code review, and application architecture.
• Document application changes and participate in the planning and implementation of updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top university.
• 4+ years of professional experience developing backend systems with Python.
• Deep expertise in FastAPI, with additional experience in Flask, Django, or similar asynchronous frameworks.
• Strong command of SQL and experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Proven experience building, scaling, and maintaining APIs and microservices architectures.
• Mandatory hands-on exposure to integrating AI/ML models into backend services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for clear technical documentation and effective team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with GenAI or LLM project development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
