We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Active Directory Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, ensuring its security, performance, and reliability. You’ll be part of a huge program, including the transformation of the AD operating model. You will also provide your expertise on troubleshooting, configuring, and optimizing Active Directory infrastructure, as well as supporting key initiatives related to identity and access management.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Active Directory. A proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
Responsibilities
- Active Directory Management: administer and maintain Active Directory domains.
- Security & Access Control: implement and enforce Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and security best practices to ensure the integrity of Active Directory services.
- Remediate security issues and implement security measures to protect Active Directory, increase security posture. Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: as the expert, help resolving Active Directory-related issues, including login problems, replication errors, and integration issues.
- Active Directory Health & Performance: ensure monitoring and maintain the health of AD infrastructure.
- Directory Integration & Federation: Integrate Active Directory with other enterprise systems, applications, and cloud-based services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Entra ID).
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: ensure effective backup and recovery processes for Active Directory, including disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain documentation on AD configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Build regular & automated reports on AD health and security.
- Continuous Improvement: stay current with the latest Active Directory best practices, tools, and security trends. Recommend improvements and optimizations to enhance system efficiency
Qualifications
- A bachelor\u2019s degree or higher in computer science, information security, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience working with Active Directory environments.
- Proven experience with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), AD replication, Group Policy Management, and AD security features.
- Experience with integrating AD with cloud-based services (e.g., Entra ID, Office 365, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex and ambiguous situations.
- Strong project management, with the ability to report efficiently and deliver results on time.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and adaptable, and the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
