A leading global provider of clinical research services seeks an experienced accountant to develop and maintain accounting procedures. The role involves preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting with audits. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma and at least 5 years of accounting experience, along with strong technical and analytical skills.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain instructions and procedures for functional roles.
• Prepare and process journal entries; maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with all accounting regulations.

Conhecimentos

Technical accounting skills

Data analysis and manipulation skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Formação académica

High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain instructions and procedures for functional roles.
2. Prepare and process journal entries; maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
3. Provide records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
4. Prepare profit and loss, income, and balance sheet statements. Maintain inter-company accounting records and reconciliations.
5. Prepare ad hoc reports for internal and inter-departmental use.
6. Provide records and reports for managers.
7. Assist in preparation of reports and analysis for use in the annual external audit.
8. Ensure accuracy and compliance with all accounting regulations and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
9. Perform special projects as needed.
10. Make suggestions for improvements to existing processes and systems.
11. Assist with preparing monthly bank account reconciliations.
12. Assist with maintaining receipts and disbursement reports.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Technical accounting skills
• Data analysis and manipulation skills
• Ability to exercise judgment within procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients
