Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering; • MBA or postgraduate in Leadership or Project Management is a plus; • Strong manufacturing engineering experience in machining and/or assembly environments, including in leadership roles; • Proven experience leading teams and delivering results in Lean Manufacturing environments, with strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies; • Demonstrated experience in project management and process improvement; • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly methods, machining and automation; • Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and digital manufacturing tools; • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; • Knowledge of Volvo products, processes, and systems is a differential. Activities: • Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture. Provide mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure team success and professional growth; • Drive strategic manufacturing initiatives by overseeing complex industrialization and investment projects, including the introduction of new products and components into powertrain assembly and machining line; • Lead capacity and footprint planning efforts to align with long-term operational goals; • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, project plans, and budgets, ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, safety, and cost control; • Apply robust risk mitigation strategies to support successful execution; • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, digitalization and continuous improvement practices to enhance flow, technical availability, productivity, safety and ergonomics across all operations; • Represent GTO PTP (Group Trucks Operations Powertrain Production) in global and cross-functional teams and networks, acting as a key liaison with Product/Processes Development, Technology and Quality; • Manage the implementation of new equipment, technologies, and automation systems, continuously advancing manufacturing capabilities; • Provide expert technical support to resolve complex manufacturing challenges, improve operational performance, and drive innovation; • Lead the EEM (Early Equipment Management) focus area, contributing actively to the strategic evolution of the manufacturing engineering.
