Qualificações

• Valid Class 3 driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with 10ft vehicles or similar.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent time management and route planning skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely and maintain physical fitness for the role.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a 10ft truck safely and efficiently whilst adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and protection of goods during transport.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, including tyre pressure, fluid levels, lights, and brakes.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery times, and cargo details.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each journey, reporting any mechanical issues or damage promptly.
• Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse staff, and dispatchers.
• Comply with driving regulations, and vehicle safety standards.
• Handle goods with care and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
• Respond to unexpected situations such as traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns in a timely manner.

About the role

Our company is seeking a skilled and reliable 10ft Truck Driver (Class 3) to join our transport and logistics team. This is a full-time position based in the North Region, offering a structured 5-day work week. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 10ft truck to transport goods and materials to various destinations whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service. This position is integral to our operations, ensuring the timely and secure delivery of goods that supports our clients' business objectives.

What We Offer

• Salary: SGD $2,300 - $2,600/month (Depends on experience)
• Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 6:00pm; Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break daily)
• Open to Malaysians (Work Permit, logistics sector) & Singaporean/PR

• Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to meeting delivery schedules
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for record-keeping and documentation
