Job summary

Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain is seeking an attentive In-Room Dining Waiter / F&B Server for our ultra-luxury estate. You will greet guests, provide professional in-room service, and upsell against a backdrop of five-star hospitality.

Must have 1–2 years in a luxury hotel, excellent English, and the ability to lift trays and work outdoors in heat. Join a team that delivers WOW experiences and benefit from our academies and Accor family rates.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience as an In-Room Dining Waiter or F&B Server in a 5-star luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent English communication; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to lift trays/trolleys and work outdoors in heat.
• Strong knowledge of menu ingredients, wine pairing, and upselling techniques.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods to confidently assist guests with recommendations and inquiries.
• Greet guests warmly and provide professional, personalized in-room food and beverage service with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Set up, present, and serve meals according to departmental standards, ensuring proper table settings, presentation, and portion control.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly while actively promoting additional F&B services and identifying upselling opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of trolleys, workstations, equipment, and storage areas at all times.
• Follow food safety and HACCP standards rigorously to ensure guest safety and compliance.

Job Description

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods to confidently assist guests with recommendations and inquiries.
• Greet guests warmly and provide professional, personalized in-room food and beverage service with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Set up, present, and serve meals according to departmental standards, ensuring proper table settings, presentation, and portion control.
• Respond to guest enquiries and requests promptly while actively promoting additional F&B services and identifying upselling opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of trolleys, workstations, equipment, and storage areas at all times.
• Follow food safety and HACCP standards rigorously to ensure guest safety and compliance.
• Handle the collection and breakdown of used dishes, trays, and trolleys efficiently and discreetly after each meal service.
• Report guest feedback, complaints, and irregularities to management and follow up as required to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Support other F&B outlets during busy periods as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
• Safely operate and drive a buggy for the timely delivery and collection of in-villa dining orders across the property, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.
• Take full responsibility for Destination Dining setups, including outdoor or special location arrangements, and create memorable “WOW Experiences” for guests through personalized touches and exceptional service.
