ACCA Careers in Bahrain is seeking a Finance Analyst to source and evaluate startup investment opportunities and support due diligence activities. The role requires strong financial modelling, valuations, and market analysis skills.

You will build financial models, monitor portfolio performance, and contribute to investment decision-making through rigorous analysis and clear presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• CFA, CAIA, FMVA etc would be an added advantage.
• 3–5 years of venture capital, private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate finance or similar analytical role.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate potential startup investment opportunities through inbound decks, industry mapping, and market trend analysis.
• Conduct due diligence by reviewing financial statements, business models, cap tables, and founder interviews.
• Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, unit economics framework, and growth projections for targets.
• Monitor portfolio company performance by tracking KPIs, assisting with valuations, and preparing portfolio reports.
• Research industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities aligned with the firm’s strategy.
