Job summary

BankABC's Group Audit function in Bahrain seeks an experienced Audit professional to support risk-based internal audits across Treasury, Financial Markets, and Risk Management. You will deliver audits per annual plan, manage fieldwork, and liaise with senior management and the Audit Committee.

• Advanced auditing techniques and risk-based auditing.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Experience engaging with senior management and audit committees.

Responsibilities

• Support annual risk assessment for Treasury, Financial Markets, and Risk Management.
• Deliver audits per annual plan and scope; ensure work is captured in the audit platform.
• Produce issue sheets and agree actions with timelines.
• Conduct audits in areas of expertise and other areas as needed.
• Manage relationships with Bahrain-based business units and conduct regular meetings.
• Deliver audits on time and within budget; support timely reporting.
• Oversee issue tracking and closure within defined timelines.
• Support team development and mandatory training.
