Job summary

Euro Motors Bahrain is seeking a highly skilled Technician to join our team. The role requires expertise in automotive systems, including electrical, engine and transmission, with hands-on experience using a range of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.

You will work on BMW vehicles, perform repairs, and ensure safety and quality in every task. The ideal candidate has vocational automotive training, proven hands-on experience, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Automotive Technician or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems including electrical, engine and transmission.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace broken/worn parts.
• Verify vehicle functions and subsystems.
• Inform supervisor about preapproval for additional repairs.
• Notify supervisor of work interruptions due to additional tasks or delays.
• Follow BMW guidelines and use proper tools and PPE.
• Handle tools and parts safely and label components.
• Manage waste according to local guidelines.
• Ensure accident prevention and report incidents.

Job Overview

Euro Motors is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Technician to join our team. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to navigate BMW's cutting-edge performance engineering.

Responsibilities

• Repair/ replacement of broken/ worn out parts.
• Verification of vehicle functions and its subsystems.
• Provides information to the supervisor about preapproval for additional repair.
• Notifies the service advisor and service assistant immediately of work interruptions as a result of additionally required work, complications, missing parts or missed deadlines.
• Uses checklists/ repair instructions, tools and test equipment adhered to current BMW guidelines.
• Handles tools, special tools work clothing etc. properly.
• Uses equipment cost- effectively.
• Hands over dismantled, replacement or warranty parts to warranty department cleaned and labelled.
• Disposes waste according to local legislated guidelines.
• Observes accident prevention guidelines and reporting incidents to his or her supervisor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role.
• A relevant vocational qualification or certification in automotive technology or mechanics.
• In-depth knowledge of various vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, and transmission.
• Proficiency in using a wide range of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
