Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Automotive Technician or similar role.
• Vocational qualification or certification in automotive technology or mechanics.
• In‑depth knowledge of vehicle systems including electrical, engine, and transmission.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• A valid driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic tests on vehicle systems to identify faults.
• Conduct routine servicing and maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and tyre rotations.
• Repair or replace defective parts such as brakes, engines, steering, and electrical components.
• Utilise diagnostic equipment to ensure accurate fault finding and resolution.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed on each vehicle.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and workshop procedures.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within the allocated time.
