Job summary

ALEZZ CONTRACTING & MECHANICAL SERVICES CO.W.L.L. is seeking a Maintenance Planner with 5+ years of experience in power plants or petrochemical facilities.

The role requires independent scheduling, outage planning, and site visits to assess requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, managing service contracts and POs, and applying preventive, predictive, and corrective strategies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in power plants, petrochemical, oil & gas, or RO/desalination.
• Hands-on maintenance planning experience is mandatory.
• Proficient with MS Office; CMMS knowledge (SAP PM/Maximo) is an advantage.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Independent worker with site visit capability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and outage plans independently.
• Prioritize and coordinate maintenance tasks based on demand and resources.
• Coordinate with contractors for maintenance execution.
• Manage service contracts and material purchase orders.
• Visit work sites independently to assess scheduling requirements.
• Apply preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Analyze maintenance data and present recommendations to supervisors.
• Prepare technical reports and statistical analyses for the Power Maintenance Planning team.
• Support problem solving by identifying effective maintenance solutions.
