Job summary

Gulf Air Group is seeking a senior Internal Auditor in Bahrain to lead internal audit projects across functions, assess risk, and implement controls. You will develop annual audit plans, coordinate resources, and provide guidance to audit staff while ensuring adherence to standards and management expectations.

The role requires experienced professionals capable of independent judgment, strong communication with stakeholders, and a commitment to ethics and quality in auditing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, auditing, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, CISA or equivalent required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director Internal Audit in identifying and evaluating risk areas for the strategic audit plan.
• Develop an comprehensive risk-based internal audit plan addressing key risks.
• Lead and manage audit assignments within agreed timelines and budgeted hours.
• Supervise audit staff, interview process owners, and document findings and recommendations.
• Maintain productive relationships with management and staff and communicate audit results.
