Job summary

TradesApp seeks a Senior Finance Manager to oversee all financial activities, ensure IFRS compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance to support growth. The role reports to the CFO and shapes the company’s financial strategy.

You will lead consolidation, budgeting, audits, cash flow, FX, and insurance matters while supervising finance staff to ensure timely ERP entries and payments with a focus on accuracy and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CFA.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance management role.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee intercompany balances and transactions across group entities.
• Prepare annual consolidated budget and manage audits.
• Provide ad-hoc financial reporting to support GCFO decisions.
• Maintain schedules of bank facilities and reports for bank meetings.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and banking transactions.
• Track FX deals and currency bookings to support GCFO.
• Gather insurance requirements and review policy terms.
• Source insurers and compare quotations, premiums, exclusions, and coverage.
• Supervise finance staff ensuring ERP entries and payments.
• Oversee fixed assets, accruals, VAT returns, and month-end reconciliations.
• Deliver monthly entity statements by the 4th and consolidated by the 6th per IFRS.
