Job summary

Amana Healthcare Bahrain is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders across all ages within a hospital and long-term care setting. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Speech and Language Pathology, a valid NHRA license or eligibility, and at least 6 years' experience in clinical settings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from a recognized university.
NHRA license or eligibility to obtain one in Bahrain.
Minimum 6 years' experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist, preferably in hospital or long-term care.
Experience with adult neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, TBI, Parkinson's) is desirable.

Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose communication, speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients across all age groups.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, goals, and medical condition.
Deliver evidence-based therapy for speech and language disorders and dysphagia.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and home programs.
Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in the hospital record system.
Stay up to date with advances in speech-language pathology and participate in professional development.
Ensure compliance with Bahrain health regulations and hospital policies.
