Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a skilled Mason to join our team in Isa Town, Bahrain. You will construct, repair and maintain structures made of brick, stone, concrete and other materials while ensuring high quality and on-time completion.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, laying foundations, mixing mortar, cutting and shaping materials, and building walls, fireplaces, chimneys, arches, and other structures. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Mason or similar role (reading blueprints, laying foundations, masonry work).
• Ability to read blueprints and follow design specifications.
• Good understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in construction industry.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and manual labor tasks.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Nationality preference: Bahraini candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials required and construction methods.
• Lay out building foundations using concrete footings and install anchor bolts.
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it evenly between bricks or stones.
• Use hand tools and power equipment to cut, shape and polish materials.
• Construct walls, partitions, fireplaces, chimneys, arches and other structures.
• Repair or replace damaged masonry units.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
