Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a skilled Part-Time Mason to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. The role involves assisting on masonry projects on a part-time basis and supporting site preparation, material mixing, and bricklaying according to plans.

The candidate should have experience in masonry or related roles, be able to read blueprints, and work well independently or as part of a team. Accommodation can be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints or plans.
• Familiar with construction materials and techniques.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good time management and ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and setting up construction sites.
• Mix and apply mortar or grout to surfaces.
• Lay bricks, blocks, or other building units according to blueprints or plans.
• Use trowels, levels, hammers, and chisels to shape and cut materials.
• Install insulation or vapor barriers as needed.
• Clean up work areas and maintain tools.
