Job summary

Four Seasons Bahrain Bay is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences with attentive, personalized service and in-depth menu knowledge.

You will welcome guests, present menus and specials, take orders with the POS, serve dishes and beverages to standard, handle requests, monitor tables, maintain cleanliness, and support colleagues during busy periods. This role requires a good command of English and a hospitality background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality qualification preferred.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or upscale hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
• Present menus and explain menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage selections.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages according to Four Seasons service standards.
• Ensure all guest requests are handled promptly and professionally.
• Monitor tables throughout the dining experience to anticipate guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned stations.
• Set up and reset tables according to restaurant standards.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalates when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Follow grooming and appearance guidelines.
• Support colleagues and assist other sections during busy periods.
• Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings.

About the role:

The Restaurant Server is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive, personalized, and professional service to guests in accordance with Four Seasons standards.
