Job summary

Talabat, part of Delivery Hero Group, is seeking an experienced Demand Planner in Bahrain to ensure optimal inventory across stores. You will forecast demand, manage replenishment parameters, and coordinate with Category Managers while engaging with senior stakeholders and leveraging SQL, Excel, and AI tools.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, cross-cultural collaboration, and proactive learning in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English and Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• You have at least 4+ years of experience in Demand Planning.
• Very detail-oriented, structured and able to prioritize; you deliver solutions, not bottlenecks.
• Able to interact with senior-level executives and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Energized by the unknown and eager to learn daily on the job.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; hands-on with SQL, Google Sheets/Excel, Claude/AI tools; Python is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills; can inspire teams and stakeholders.
• Language skills: Fluent English and Arabic would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct inventory at stores; monitor stock movement; update ordering parameters.
• Maintain replenishment model inputs: lead times, reorder points, EOQ, MOQs.
• Prepare demand forecasts and initiate ordering to stores; track receipts.
• Manage inventory in coordination with Category Managers.
• Ensure timely analysis and reporting of inventory and forecast.
• Dispatch orders to suppliers and track them.
• Liaise with suppliers to improve forecasting and replenishment.
• Maintain accurate records of in-stock and inventory position.

About the opportunity

What's On Your Plate?

• Responsible for ensuring we have the correct inventory at the stores (No OOS or OVS) by analyzing the current inventory status and updating the ordering parameters. Daily monitoring of stock movement, running report of daily inventory adjustment.
• Maintaining parameters of the replenishment model and making sure it is accurately input into the system, including lead times, reorder point, economic order quantities, suppliers minimum order quantities, etc.
• Preparing demand forecasts and initiating ordering to the stores and tracking receipt of such orders
• Managing the relevant inventory in coordination with the Category Managers
• Ensuring timely and accurate analysis and reporting of inventory and purchase forecast
• Dispatching orders to suppliers and ensuring proper tracking
• Liaising with suppliers for improving collaborative forecasting planning and replenishment
• Ensuring maintenance of appropriate and accurate records of in-stock and inventory position are kept
