Job summary

Savills Middle East is seeking a Senior Retail Leasing Specialist in Bahrain to originate and deliver leasing transactions, advise on retail leasing strategies, and contribute to the growth of our retail real estate business. You will work with landlords, developers, and brands to build long-term client relationships and drive commercial results.

The role requires a strong track record in retail leasing, excellent negotiation and presentation skills, and a network within the GCC retail market.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in retail leasing, ideally within malls or mixed-use developments.
Strong understanding of Bahrain retail real estate market and regional trends.
Proven track record of securing leasing transactions and achieving revenue targets.
Experience advising and negotiating with landlords, retailers, developers, and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of commercial lease structures and Heads of Terms documentation.

Responsibilities

Develop an in-depth understanding of the retail real estate market and business environment.
Identify and secure retail leasing instructions and opportunities.
Advise landlords and occupiers on leasing opportunities and market conditions.
Manage leasing transactions from enquiry to completion.
Negotiate terms and assist with Heads of Terms and lease docs.
Build strong relationships with landlords, retailers, developers and stakeholders.
Generate new business through networking and market intelligence.
Meet individual fee and revenue targets and support team objectives.
Monitor retailer requirements and market trends to spot opportunities.
Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients and colleagues.
Identify cross-selling opportunities to other service lines.
Share market insights across channels and maintain records.
