Job summary

Deloitte Bahrain is seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional to support risk-based internal audits across functions and entities in the region. You will perform fieldwork, identify control gaps, and develop practical recommendations aligned with IIA standards.

Strong communication and English proficiency are essential. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business are required; professional qualifications like CIA, CISA, ACCA, or CPA

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or related field.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and risk-based auditing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of risk-based internal audits across functions and entities.
• Identify control gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities with practical recommendations.
• Prepare high-quality working papers aligned with IIA standards and Deloitte methodology.
• Assist in governance and compliance-related activities and follow-up on management actions.
