Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Management Engineering Construction & Commissioning Professional to oversee complex engineering projects from inception to delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage schedules and budgets, and drive risk management to ensure on-time, on-budget completion with top-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical) or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 14–16 years of progressive PM experience in engineering, construction and commissioning.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of large-scale engineering projects from planning to closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and operations teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans and risk management strategies.
• Oversee contractors, suppliers and vendors to ensure contract compliance.
• Provide stakeholder updates and manage relationships with clients and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regs and environmental policies.
• Conduct regular reviews, assess performance and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
