Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• FAP certification is preferred.
• 5–6 years of practical banking experience.
• 3+ years in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Analyse clients’ credit risks and the financial risks affecting their industries.
• Review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow projections and business plans.
• Evaluate customers’ financial position and ability to repay financing facilities.
• Prepare industry reports and peer comparisons.
• Prepare credit applications with Relationship Managers in accordance with the bank's credit policies.
• Develop credit information to support new loans, renewals and loan extensions.
• Prepare review-list, past-due and financial-covenant reports.
• Ensure customer files contain updated financial statements, receivables ageing and other required documents.
• Monitor customer accounts, identify emerging issues and notify Relationship Managers.
• Respond to written and verbal credit enquiries.
• Prepare credit-related correspondence concerning bank customers.
• Set and achieve annual performance objectives.
• Identify personal development needs and maintain relevant professional knowledge.
