Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (epidemiology/biostatistics/public health)
• Training in cancer epidemiology or registry-based research preferred
• Experience with cancer registry data informing policy and resource allocation
• Proficiency in statistical software (R/STATA/SPSS/SAS) for epidemiological analysis
• Advanced Excel and data-visualisation tools for reporting

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct descriptive and analytical epidemiological studies using registry or health-facility data
• Translate epidemiological evidence into actionable public health recommendations
• Support national cancer-control policy development and resource planning
• Collaborate with cancer registry, health planning and digital transformation teams
• Ensure dataquality assessment for cancer-registry data and adherence to reporting standards
