Job summary

Yateem Airconditioning Company WLL in Manama seeks a Lead Sales Engineer- Applied to lead sales of Chillers, AHUs and FCUs. The role covers end-to-end pipeline management, from enquiry to payment, with a focus on winning specifications and projects in the Bahrain market.

The successful candidate will conduct technical demonstrations, deliver compelling proposals, and coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure technically compliant, commercially competitive solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• 6–10 years of progressive experience in HVAC project sales, with a focus on Applied Products (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs).
• Regional market experience in Middle East or similar markets with long-cycle enterprise sales.
• Proficiency in HVAC selection software (e.g., Carrier E-Design Suite/HAP, York/Daikin/SKM).
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar) for pipeline management.
• Strong understanding of ASHRAE standards and energy-efficiency metrics.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales booking and billing targets for the Applied HVAC products portfolio (chillers, AHUs, FCUs).
• Develop and manage the complete sales pipeline from enquiry to award, delivery, invoicing, and payment follow-up.
• Build and maintain relationships with MEP consultants, contractors, developers, end-users, and stakeholders in Bahrain HVAC market.
• Engage with consultants during design stages to influence project specifications.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions highlighting performance and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate with application engineering, estimation, procurement, and project teams to develop technically compliant proposals.
• Lead commercial negotiations to achieve competitive pricing and maintain project margins.
• Provide technical and commercial support through tender, order, delivery and handover.
