Job summary

Paramount Computer Systems is seeking a Security Engineer in Bahrain for on-site deployment and management of network, endpoint, cloud, and email security solutions. You will monitor SIEM alerts, perform vulnerability assessments, and support incident response to protect client environments.

The role requires 3–5 years in cybersecurity, strong know‑how of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and cloud security, plus familiarity with Microsoft Defender and security standards like ISO 27001 and NIST.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security operations.
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
• Experience with SIEM, vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.
• Familiarity with Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Defender.
• Understanding of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and customer‑facing skills.
