Job summary

RapidFix Services seeks an experienced Mason to join the team in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. The role involves building and repairing structures using bricks, stones, and concrete blocks. It is a full-time position offering a salary of 1200$, without accommodation.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring and laying materials, mixing mortar, and performing repairs as needed. Visa and flight tickets are provided for non-local candidates, with an option for students to apply part-time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
• Knowledge of different masonry techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine materials needed.
• Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with bricks, stones or other materials.
• Mix cement, sand, and water to produce mortar or grout according to specifications.
• Use hand tools such as hammers, chisels, and trowels to shape, trim or clean bricks and stones.
• Lay bricks or other masonry units according to set patterns.
• Apply mortar between joints of bricks or stones.
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones.
