Job summary

Ecojob in Al-Malikiyah, Syria is seeking an experienced Mason to join our team. The Mason will construct, repair, and maintain walls, floors and other surfaces using bricks, concrete and stone.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in masonry and the ability to work in various weather conditions are required. The role requires reading blueprints, physical stamina, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure precise, durable results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in masonry.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and varied weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Prepare and lay out materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, or stone according to plans.
• Use tools such as trowels, levels, and saws to cut or shape materials.
• Mix mortar or grout according to specifications.
• Lay bricks or other materials in horizontal courses.
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or other materials.
• Ensure that structures are level and plumb.
• Clean up work areas after completing projects.
