Job Summary
The Project Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling architectural and decorative paints to project-based clients, including contractors, consultants, developers, interior designers, real estate companies, and project owners. The role requires strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills, with the ability to provide on-site support and technical coordination related to paint products and decorative solutions. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new project opportunities, following up with existing clients, preparing sales presentations, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the projects sector, including construction projects, commercial buildings, residential compounds, hotels, offices, villas, and interior finishing projects.
- Promote architectural and decorative paint products to contractors, consultants, developers, architects, designers, and project owners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the construction and finishing market.
- Conduct regular site visits to follow up on ongoing projects, understand client requirements, and provide on-site support.
- Present company products, paint systems, color solutions, and decorative finishes to clients in a professional manner.
- Prepare and deliver sales, product demonstrations, and project proposals.
- Follow up on project specifications, quotations, approvals, delivery schedules, and payment collection when required.
- Coordinate with technical, operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide clients with suitable product recommendations based on project requirements, surface conditions, application needs, and budget.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and new project opportunities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by management.
- Maintain accurate records of client visits, project pipelines, quotations, follow-ups, and sales activities.
- Handle client complaints professionally and coordinate with the concerned departments to provide effective solutions.
- Support the company’s brand image by representing the products and services professionally during client meetings and site visits.
- Follow up with consultants and contractors to secure product approvals and specifications whenever required.
- Prepare regular sales reports, project status updates, and market feedback reports for management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Applied Arts, Interior Design, or any related field is preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in project sales, preferably in architectural paints, decorative paints, construction materials, finishing materials, chemicals, or building solutions.
- Age should not exceed 33 years.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on-site and visit projects, contractors, consultants, and clients regularly.
- Good knowledge of the construction, finishing, decoration, or architectural materials market is preferred.
- Ability to understand client needs and recommend suitable paint and decorative solutions.
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple projects and clients at the same time.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Presentable, professional, and customer-focused.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
