Job summary

Era Projects in Manama is seeking an experienced architect to join on-site delivery of architectural design and coordination. You will lead preparation and review of drawings and ensure alignment with structural and MEP teams while complying with Bahrain regulations.

You will conduct site visits, review shop drawings, and support project documentation and revisions. Bahrain experience and AutoCAD proficiency are required; Revit/SketchUp/3ds Max/Lumion knowledge is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field required.
• 3–5 years of architectural design and construction experience.
• Experience in Bahrain preferred; knowledge of local regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; Revit/SketchUp/Lumion knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and details.
• Develop architectural designs and technical solutions based on project requirements.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and measurements as required.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, samples, and technical documents.
• Ensure architectural works are implemented according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist in resolving design and technical issues during construction.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with approved designs and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and design revisions.
• Ensure designs and construction works comply with applicable Bahrain regulations, codes, and authority requirements.
• Assist with project planning, BOQs, specifications, and other technical documentation when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and construction.
• Previous experience in Bahrain is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Bahrain construction practices, regulations, and approval requirements.
• Good understanding of architectural detailing, materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, or other design software is an advantage.
• Ability to read, prepare, and coordinate technical drawings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of construction site procedures and project execution.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams.
• Must be currently available in Bahrain.

Preferred Candidate

• Have previous Bahrain experience in architectural or construction projects.
• Have good knowledge of local Bahrain authorities, regulations, suppliers, contractors, and construction practices.
• Have experience coordinating with consultants and contractors in Bahrain.
• Can join immediately or within a short notice period.
