Job summary

Kempinski invites a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement for our luxury hotels in Manama. You will direct supplier relations, negotiate contracts, and source high-quality materials while upholding our brand standards and implementing a resilient supply-chain framework before launch.

Reporting to the Purchasing Department, you’ll oversee OS&E and FF&E schedules, manage inventory and cost controls, and collaborate with Culinary, Housekeeping and Engineering to meet urgent requests and ensure

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years as Purchasing Manager or Assistant Purchasing Manager in a 5-star luxury hotel.
• Experience in pre-opening procurement projects preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Proficiency with hospitality procurement software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish supplier networks, negotiate contracts, and set OS&E/FF&E purchasing schedules before launch.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors; negotiate terms without compromising quality.
• Oversee receiving, store operations, and inventory to optimize turnover and minimize waste.
• Enforce purchasing policies and internal controls across departments.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Housekeeping, and Engineering for routine and capital purchases.
