Job summary

RemoteConnect is looking for a Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team in creating delicious, visually appealing desserts. You will develop new recipes, bake a variety of pastries, and ensure high quality ingredients and timely production for events.

The role requires proven pastry experience, strong baking technique knowledge, and creativity in recipe development, with a focus on accuracy and fast-paced environments. A culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create new pastry recipes that align with our menu.
• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries including cakes, cookies, breads and other sweet treats.
• Decorate pastries using different techniques such as icing, glazing and piping.
• Ensure all ingredients used are fresh and of high quality.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production of pastries for events or special occasions.
• Maintain a clean organized and sanitary work area at all times.
• Train new pastry chefs on techniques, recipes and company standards.
