Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons in locating and accessing library resources, including books, magazines, online databases, and other materials.
• Organize and maintain the library's collection by shelving books, cataloging new materials, and conducting regular inventory checks.
• Provide guidance to patrons on how to use library equipment, such as computers and printers.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment in the library by tidying shelves and work areas.
• Respond to patron inquiries in person or over the phone with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with other librarians to plan and execute events such as book clubs or author talks.
• Stay up-to-date with current literary trends and recommend new titles for purchase.
