Part‑Time Librarian

As a part-time librarian in our library located in Manama, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to our patrons, organizing and maintaining the collection, and facilitating the use of library resources. This position is perfect for someone without previous experience in the field, as we provide on‑the‑job training.

If you are eager to learn about library operations while providing excellent service to our patrons.

• Assist patrons with finding and accessing library materials
• Organize and maintain library materials, including shelving books and other resources
• Process new materials and add them to the collection
• Answer reference questions from patrons
• Provide basic computer assistance to patrons using library technology
• Create displays to promote new materials or events
• Help plan and implement programs for library users
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required

Salary: Starting salary is $1600 per month.
