Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Previous librarian experience, preferably in an academic setting.
• Strong knowledge of library systems, cataloging, and classification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Familiarity with online databases and e-books.
• Part-time availability approximately 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage the library collection to align with curriculum.
• Assist students and faculty with research inquiries and instruction.
• Organize and maintain the library space.
• Evaluate and select new materials.
• Create displays to promote reading and literacy.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate resources into lessons.
